The Soundweb Contrio EC-8BV is an Ethernet wall controller designed for Harman HiQnet systems, enabling control and monitoring of BSS Audio Soundweb London and other HiQnet devices, including Crown DCi series amplifiers. Available in black or white, it comes in dual-gang US Decora or dual-gang EU form factors. The EC-8BV features a single Ethernet port for configuration, control, monitoring, and power via PoE, and is configured through HiQnet Audio Architect with drag-and-drop operations.

The controller includes one push/rotary encoder, one encoder ring, eight multi-color backlit buttons, and two LCD screens, all with adjustable intensity and capable of displaying eight colors. The encoder allows continuous parameter control (e.g., volume), binary control (e.g., mute), and preset recall. The encoder ring can show an audio meter or volume/binary parameter settings when adjusted, providing an intuitive interface for system control.
