For longer distances, the BSS Audio MC-1 fiber optic media converter can be used, extending the range to over 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) using single-mode fiber. The intuitive “drag and drop” interface makes configuration simple and user-friendly.
The processor is equipped with a low-latency, 48-channel digital audio bus that uses standard Category 5e cabling, supporting distances up to 100 meters between compatible devices. For longer distances, fiber media converters can be employed, extending connectivity to over 40 kilometers.
